This allows players to create an object and use it to log a scene. The object is visible in the room at all times and flagged with double red parenthesis to make them stand out like: ((Logger Name)). Looking at the object will say that it is a logging object and if it is on or off. This allows a log without channel spam, page spam, OOC spam, +where and WHO spam that will output in a manner you can cut and paste directly into a log post!
These objects are ALWAYS displayed in a room. The room display code will not allow them to be hidden or ‘invisible’.
To start, create an object with ‘@create <OBJ>’ where <OBJ> is whatever name you like. Please do not use anything inappropriate. You can go with anything from a generic ‘Logger’ to the name of an item your character might carry.
Staff has found in the past that people forget to recycle or destroy their loggers. This is why Inheritance Gambit has Quota enabled on the game.
PLEASE REMEMBER that logs are NOT secure objects. If you forget it in a room, anyone can view its contents.
